Terms of service

No legal entity has been registered yet. This service is operated by an individual who has not yet established a legal entity, registered address, or jurisdiction. The operator must supply an entity name, address and governing jurisdiction before these terms bind anyone. Until then, use of this service is subject to the conditions described below as an informal agreement.

Acceptance

By using Favlint, you accept these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

Service description

Favlint is a diagnostic tool that checks which favicon files a website declares and whether they are accessible. You submit a URL; the tool fetches the page and its declared icons server-to-server and returns a report. The service is provided "as is" without any warranty, express or implied.

Acceptable use

You may submit any public URL for scanning.
You may not submit URLs to probe private or internal network resources (loopback, private IP ranges, link-local addresses — the API rejects these).
You may not use the service for denial-of-service, mass scanning, or any activity that would cause harm to the operator or to third parties.
You may not attempt to bypass the input validation rules.

Rate limiting

The service operates on a shared Cloudflare Worker free tier. To maintain availability for all users, rate limits may be applied at the operator's discretion. Excessive or abusive usage may be blocked without notice.

Intellectual property

The Favlint name, logo and brand assets are provided for identification of the service. You may not reproduce, redistribute or modify them without permission. The results generated by Favlint are factual statements about HTTP responses and are not subject to copyright.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the operator shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly, or any loss of data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, resulting from use or inability to use the service.

No accounts, no stored data

Favlint does not create user accounts, store submitted URLs, or retain scan results. Each scan is ephemeral. There is no personal data to access, correct, or delete because none is collected.

Billing & subscriptions

Free tier. The Free plan requires no payment and no billing information. All features marked as Free are available without charge.

Pro subscription. The Pro plan is offered at $5 per month (billed monthly). A Pro subscription grants access to unlimited URL scans, full format validation with dimension accuracy checks, detailed consumer-specific recommendations, and any future features designated as Pro on the pricing page.

Payment processing is not yet connected. No payment can be accepted at this time. The Pro subscription selector and checkout interface on the site are a demonstration only. No billing information is collected, no charges are processed, and no Pro membership is activated through this interface.

When a payment processor is connected, these billing terms will apply:

Subscriptions are billed monthly in advance. Payment is due at the start of each billing period.
If a charge fails, access to Pro features will be suspended. A retry is attempted automatically up to three times over the following 7 days. If all retries fail, the subscription will be cancelled.
You may cancel at any time. Pro access continues until the end of the current billing period. No partial refunds are given for partial months.
Refunds are provided within 14 days of the payment date for accidental or duplicate charges.

Governing law

Governing law will be specified when a legal entity and jurisdiction are registered. Until then, these terms are governed by the place of residence of the operator.

Changes

These terms may be updated at any time. Continued use after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
