Privacy policy

Last updated: August 27, 2026

No legal entity has been registered yet. This product is operated by an individual who has not yet established a legal entity, registered address, or jurisdiction. The operator must supply an entity name, address and governing jurisdiction before this policy establishes binding commitments. Until then, this document describes the data practices of the service as operated today.

What this service does

Favlint is a diagnostic tool for checking website favicon files. You enter a URL, the service fetches that URL's HTML page (server-to-server), reads all icon declarations from the <head>, requests each icon file, and returns a report of which are present and which are missing.

Data collected

Data NOT collected

How the URL you submit is handled

When you submit a URL, the Favlint Worker fetches that URL from its own servers. The fetch is ephemeral: the page HTML and icon file contents are processed in memory and discarded after the response is sent. Favlint does not cache, store, or redistribute the content it fetches.

Children's privacy

This service is intended for general audiences. It does not knowingly collect any information from children under 16.

Changes to this policy

If the data practices change, this page will be updated. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects the most recent change.

Contact

Contact details will be provided when a legal entity is established. At present, no mailbox or contact address exists for this service. If you have questions about your data, note that no personal data is collected and none can be associated with you.
